Little India Branding Photos in Singapore for Children’s Author

This summer, I had the extreme joy of planning a photoshoot with the beautiful children’s book author Namita Moolani Mehra! Namita got in touch as she needed new author headshots as well as photos to promote her delightful book ‘Anni Dreams of Biryani’.

We planned our morning branding photoshoot in Singapore to capture Namita in Little India (where the book is set!). It was important for us to capture some colourful Singapore Shophouses and a local cafe to capture Namita ‘in action’ writing. ✍️ Bright colors are an integral part of Namita’s brand, and I wanted to be sure we showcased what makes her writing and children’s books so unique! I loved getting to play with the colors and textures during this branding session. I’m a big color fan myself, so it was extra fun.
