Have you ever come back from a holiday and felt you needed another one?
Our time in Australia over Christmas was magical. Sun soaked days at the beach, inside jokes with old friends and spending time with cherished family.
One of the highlights was the five days we spent with friends in Carrickalinga, a seaside town in South Australia.
We watched the children build sandcastles together on the beach, discuss ice cream flavours endlessly and fall asleep on the sofa in the evening while the adults played Monikers - my new favourite after dinner game!
Of course it wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns (two big themes in our house at the moment). There was the daily struggle with sunscreen and the inevitable crankiness after late nights.
It was 100% worth it. But when we got home to our London flat I could have slept for a week.
If you have friends or family visiting this year and want some images of you all together get in touch. I’m so glad I took my camera with me to the beach this day. The next time we’re all together I’m sure the kids are all going to be inches taller.
